This 5 hour session includes the Math Mania in the Primary Grades (originally published in 2001) was revised in 2018 and an audio Cd
companion. This edition contains over 200 ready to use lessons.
Participants in this session will:
Learn how to teach math concepts with simple games that get your whole class involved in the math process.
Explore problem solving strategies that incorporate rhyme, chant, song, and movement.
Easily incorporate differentiation, not only in math lessons, but anchor activities.
Help students make connections across the math curriculum.
Be acquainted with specific math skills to assist your learners as they continue to develop as math maniacs.
Concepts presented include: Telling time, addition, subtraction, measurement, patterning, money, symmetry, place value, fractions, rounding,
estimation, and odd and even numbers.
You will be ready to start a new kind of math instruction the very next day at school!
